Hi, I’m Mike Oyler — the owner and operator of Memphis PC Guy. I’ve been helping Memphis and the surrounding communities with onsite computer repair since the early days, working with Computer Warehouse, Classic Computers, Flagship Computers, and PC Complete of Tennessee.

In 2007 I launched memphispcguy.com with real‑time online booking for onsite repair — long before most techs even thought about offering it, and I only charged $25/hr.

In 2019 I added Remote Computer Support via Splashtop, which proved invaluable during the COVID years and again while I was recovering from back surgery and a four‑week ICU stay in 2022.

My experience comes from decades of hands‑on work with desktops, laptops, networks, printers, and software — supporting everyone from homeowners to small and mid‑size businesses across Memphis, Bartlett, Cordova, and Germantown.

I’m the brain of the operation — and Pinky, my hot‑pink Snap‑On SSDMR4B from the 90s, is my right‑hand troublemaker. She was a Mother’s Day special the Snap‑On guys handed me back when I built and bolted the computer systems into their trucks, and she’s still a beast. The magnet alone could hold a screw through a Memphis thunderstorm.

My service vehicle is a 2002 red Miata — the little sewing machine with headlights that’s hauled me to more house calls than most work vans ever see. Every now and then I’ll grab my newer LTT screwdriver, but let’s be honest: they only refined what Pinky already perfected. And even now at $60/hr — I’m still cheaper than Geek Squad. This isn’t a hobby — it’s my business, and I want yours.
